Slovakia

Computing:

This year we decided to visit some mountains in Slovakia. After some experience
with modern tablets I decided to use my old Lenovo X61s notebook because it was
no problems to interface our digital cameras. I also sometimes need to download
some geocaches to my Garmin eTrex GPS which can be done easily with the
notebook but I have no idea what to do it with the tablet (no matter if it's
Ubuntu Touch one or the Android one). Well, it worked as expected.

Traveling:

* a short walk from the Chopok to the Kotliska mountain in the Nizke Tatry
  (done, 2 groups of chamoiss were spotted),
* a via ferrata to Martinske Hole in the Mala Fatra (done).
* a via ferata in the Kysel gorge in the Slovak Paradise (done) [1].
*a visit of the Orava Casle (done).

The only problem was that there are many new pensions in the Jasna (a point of
the Demanovska Dolina in the Nizke Tatry) and there were many ongoing
construction works. So the previously nice and quiet place is now noisy and
ugly. Next time we will need to find another place for the holidays.
