Tangara

There  is an  interesting open  hardware  project -  the Tangara  music
player [1]. It seems to  be something visually and functionally similar
to the  old Apple's music players  from early 2000s but  made from zero
with use of modern components.

The device runs  an open-source software and it looks  cool. However, I
have  had  the Apple's  one  in  (late) 2000s  and  while  it was  cool
initially I remember I actually had little use for it. Basically, there
were little occasions to use such device and now it's even worse as I'm
used to commute on a bike.


So  I'm  not  sure  if  I  really want  to  spent  more  than  200  EUR
for  something I  will  potentially may  not use.  I'm  not sure  about
hackability of such functionally limited devices.

Maybe others will have different opinions....
