Battery life when off
=====================

Today I wanted to see new design of Logout's Czech blog [1] on a pocket
device. So I turned on the Nokia N800 and it worked fine (I charged the
device before some months and then kept it off - the battery was still
almost full and the system time was OK). The page still looks well
here, by the way.

The I wanted to repeat the same procedure with the Nokia N900 phone. If
I'm not mistaken I charged it last weekend. The battery was flat...

Both devices have not so old and original Nokia batteries (I got them
in approximately the same time). The N900 has no SIM inside and it is
handled in the same way as the N800.

I should test the same with the Nokia 770. But I have no battery inside
this device so I have to find one first (or remove it from the N800).

A good reason to turn the 770 on is to compile the Brandy BASIC [2] (my old
good 770 has the full set of development tool installed)....
