Libertine (Ubuntu Touch)
========================

The Libertine container is the Ubuntu Touch term for X11 support inside
the system (it runs the Mir display server instead of the X). It runs
in a separate container and it is only partially connected to the rest
of the OS.

It was made to make possible use of the Firefox and the
LibreOffice.They also were the only X programs which were able to use
the virtual keyboard. Other applications were able to be installed but
they required a hardware (bluetooth) keyboard for text input.

Many things changed in time. Under the UbPorts many thing happen -
first the Libertine stopped to work them it was changed and improved.
It can be even configured from GUI. Many things can run here for now (I
have a complete development environment here (for Gtk/OpenGL apps).

And the DOSbox works, too (that is the only way to have the it here).

But the Firefox and the LibreOffice no longer work (the Gnumeric does).
And one has to use a Bluetooth keyboard once more .
