Alarm Clock
===========

Logout [1] noted on his Czech blog [2] that he have been using the Palm
Tungsten E (the one which can use old good Nokia charger and which has
a miniUSB for synchronization) on daily basis. The reasons are obvious:
this thing works and it works well in a predictable way. He noted the
PalmDB software as a tool which is important to him (there is no real
competitor among Android or iOS apps of similar purpose in terms of
ease of use and effectivity, I think). He also use the Palm as an alarm
clock because and notes that is Xiaomi phone changes the volume and
sound of alarm after updates (the Palm of course keeps the selected
sound and volume).

Well, I can agree with all his article. I use my Palm III (the same
form factor as the Tungsten E, just older) devices in similar way.
Except the alarm. The III line has some sort of alarm but it is too
quiet. It often cannot wake up me.

Thus I have to confess that as an alarm clock I use a PSION Organiser
II. It has loud, configurable alarm clock. It has no other advantages
over a 12+ years newer Palm but this one is enough to give it a
privilege to be located permanently in the bedroom.
