New Agenda VR3 PDA
==================

The "new" Agenda VR3 handheld arrived today. It's the Developer Edition one.
It's not new and it not perfect (one of the screen cover hinges is damaged
which seems to be typical for these devices). The machine is a white-blue
translucent one and it looks very cool. There is even a picture of the Tux both
on the screen cover and on the cradle ;-)

I already have had a production-run VR3 but it has problems with the LCD.

I only put batteries into the device and tested if it works. I hope that I will
find more time to play with it. As you can see at [1] it uses the MIPS CPU and
it runs X11 so it's a nice complement to my MIPS-based Unix workstation.
Unfortunately, I have never managed to make the synchronization working between
the VR3 and the IRIX (it seems that the IRIX's pppd server does not support
necessary features to be able to connect...).
