# [2021.03.07] Croissants

In Moscow, I rarely ate croissants for breakfast. Usually, when I
did, I brought them from the nearest department store bakery. Freshly
baked croissants were generally not available, except only for cafes.
But here in France, frozen croissants are so ubiquitous that baking
them in an oven became quickly part of my morning routine. The same
thing happened with brioche and salted butter. Neither were
widespread for Moscow and both I found quite palatable here.
