# [2021.01.06] Calvados

I've never tasted it before. All of a sudden, in France, they
distinguish between true-real-original Calvados and Calvados Pays
d'Auge. Although Calvados coming from the province of the same name
comprises three fourth of the market, I decided to start from l'eau
de vie hailing from Pays d'Auge. Well, it was not as multifaceted as
some of the Scotch whiskeys I was honoured to déguster. But for sure,
it was incredibly apple and sweet without a grain of sugar. It's easy
to get drunk as hell.
