# [2019.09.19] Free Workshops

As the registration was closing at the day when I decided to buy a
ticket for the conference, I managed to register only for a tutorial,
but not for workshops. Today I wondered whether anybody would check
my eligibility to visit a workshop on online recommender systems in
the second half of the day. Nobody even tried to do that:)

I liked both the tutorial on recommendations in a marketplace and the
talk about building a recommender based on Elasticsearch.

My free time today was mostly dedicated to hunting for some wine and
cheese to bring back to Russia. Today also was the last day when I
used a bicycle. In total, I spent about seven hours riding and
covered more than 60 km during these days.
