3/26/2024 Just a bit ago I did the now classic mistake of printing in portait mode instead of landscape. As I am walking the long walk across a decent sized warehouse back to my desk to reprint the page something popped into my head. I remember watching an episode of Seinfield when I was a kid where a runner missed his alarm. Somewhere in the episode Jerry asked was it the AM/PM thing? Since there are people alive now who have never had a dedicated alarm clock besides a cell phone I will explain real quick. Back in the day when you set the alarm clock to the time you wanted it to go off there was usually a little switch that you had to select AM or PM. If you forgot to select this your alarm might not go off until the afternoon instead in the morning when most of us need an alarm clock. So the thing that came to mind is landscape vs portrait the new AM vs PM? Have we exchanged one contemporary affair for another? This also reminds of the phrase the _more things change the more they stay the same_. Well I've got the page I printed oriented the correct way now so I guess I better get back to work. If I have anymore "earth shattering" thoughts I will be sure to write about them. :-P
