After a few months I've managed to fix my Italian espresso machine and start pulling some good espressos. I'm religious about my coffee and I have an awesome espresso machine: a La Pavoni. It was a pain to learn to get a decent coffee out of it, complete pain, but it's involving and somehow I now enjoy the process. It also looks just too nice in our kitchen. It's one of my daily rituals that make my day taking my mind from anything else. I feel a bit depressed: most of the things I have been working on haven't worked out exactly as I wanted them to, my relationship is challenging, I hate getting older. On-top the whole Coronavirus is horrible (we just canceled a concert we were planning to go to in-order to avoid any unecessary risks). Is this how life is going to be from now on? The latest dissapointment however is seeing Bernie Sanders behind Biden in the US elections. I simply can't get my mind around why people would chose Biden over Sanders - Sanders was such a breath of fresh air into the American and Global politics, promising to at least try to make the US a more livable place for more people. Beats me. henrycase@sdf.org
