I am not too sure where to write
anymore. Between sdf and lucid.observer.
At least I got back into using my
small portable deck. I've also
charged my setup with solar
power for the first time in
my life. I can last about 2
weeks writing daily and browsing
gopher and gemini in the
evening.

I'd like to try some wind
portable power generator
to add to my minimal solar
setup, something modular,
maybe with a crank for when
there is no wind or sun.

I've tried to reach some
hackers around the lake to
experiment with my loRa
radio. Being on a lake is
a perfect setup as I have
line of sight on a very
long distance, and we could
create a mesh quite easily.

A small mesh running a solar,
wind, and wave powered gemini
server on a small raspberry pi
would be a nice proof of
concept for a minimal off-grid
communication setup. But first,
gotta make contact with some
local hacker. Most of them are
working at Shambala festival
for now... I'll have to wait
a couple weeks!

Meanwhile lucid.observer is
pretty solid. I am moving
my http server over too,
since the machine is quite
powerful and might as well
have all the services on
one machine. I've given
up having multiple domain
for gopher server, so only
lucid.observer will be on
that port for now.

The zine I'm working on
(l0tek publication,
my smoll life) is moving
forward nicely. I've
chosen a couple of fonts,
both open-source, and
started on the cover
design and masthead.
Writing the editorial
has been a bit more
challenging as I am
trying to weave many
different threads into
one main storyline.
I'm really excited!

I'm watching "They Live" by John
Carpenter after watching a
segment on Spiritual Warfare.
I've never really watched
Info Wars, and the main man
of the show is pretty obnoxious.
But the title caught my attention,
and they showed a 1 minutes
clip of the movies, which
I know about but never
watched the whole movie.

It's actually a lot of fun.
A homeless, jobless man end
up in an encampment outside
the city where he fumbles
upon a pair of magic shades
which makes him see the
hidden world that controls
the human mind. Evil creatures
are also hidden in plain
sight.
