Remove love from someone's life
and they will do everything to get it back.

Make love illegal, and you aleniate
a whole culture.

I wrote about this before, but it
seems like out culture is
at war with love.

I don't experience love much.
A bit from my wife,
when she feels good.

A bit more from my daughter,
who had plenty of love
so far in her life.

That's all the love
I am allowed in my life.

If I want to love another one
then I'm cheating on my wife.
I'm a bad person, a pervert,
needy and unwell.
I should learn restrain,
refocus my behaviour...

When I was receiving Thai-Massage
from Span in Montreal,
she talked a lot about love.

Her massage,
where I ended up
half naked, were deep,
oily, sensual and primarly
about giving love.
It never got sexual though.
It was a very clear line
define trough love.

When I didn't go for a while
she would be annoyed by me.
She would say
I had trouble
receiving love.
I did agree,
I am afraid
of love.

Love is sensual,
love is sexual,
love it touching
love is smelling
love is intense
love is light

Love is not just
a mental process,
a contract or an idea.
It's a full experience,
of our humaness
on all the levels
of our being.

Our culture detached love
from the body experience.
Anything sensual
is not love.
If you are aroused,
it's not love.
If you're naked
it's definitely not love
If you are the same sex...
well now that's ok,
depending in which country
you are in...

We made a whole industry
of things we call 'not love'.

We are raised with little love,
our parents were too busy
making a living,
to express love.

We grow up with a lack of love.
We get thaught
that you can then
have more love
only when you get
in a couple.

You can then receive
and give love
to that one person
and only that one.

Two partner at the same time?
It's illegal.
No partner at all?
It's not called love anymore.
Not married?
Well that's ok now,
for some families.

We've at least barely
broke the same-sex taboo.

Why would a culture
go at war with love?

Every tv show,
every movies
training us to not love
training us to be not human
bashing any other way of living
than the couple
mostly heterosexual
thin, well balanced,
emotionally mature...

You drink,
you don't deserve love.
You're angry,
you definitely don't deserve love.
You're kinky
well this is not love anyway...

And why do I watch
so much movie?
To experience love
from someone's else life?
I am seeking
love everywhere
but with other people.

And this is where
the addiction lies.
With a social network
which almost give
that sensation of love.
Which almost makes
you feel human
for a moment.
We constantly search
for more of that sensation,
is it fame? Is it connection?
No, it's simply love...

Lets imagine a culture
based on love.
You can receive
and give love
to anyone.

We hug and massage anyone.
Nudity is not a crime.
A kiss is a sweet delicious
exchange which doesn't mean
we cheat or hurt anyone else.
But bring a friendship to a
relation where love is exchanged.
We follow our attraction
without possesiveness and
in respect of each others.
There is something relaxing
and healing about melting
into a society based on love.

It doesn't mean
that we make babies
like rabbits
There are so many ways
to express love
prior to the baby making phase!

What about:
if you make babies with one person
you don't go around making babies
with everyone.
But the rest is love?

And what about self love?
If I don't exprience love
in my day to day life,
how can I explore my self love.
Now that's a taboo in itself!

I do feel our North American culture
is really enslaving us in a passive
aggressive way. A normalized abuse
that is really hard to define.

These are the law, that restrain
your liberty as a human so we
can all live in peace and
experience freedom. Don't question
the system, learn to live by it.
This is the greatest society
that ever existed. Look how the others
are bad, we on the contrary are good.
You cannot dislike this way of living,
it's the best, and if you don't fit in
you are the problem.

I do feel bad about complaining.
Of course, why would I complain
with all the riches and the freedom
I am given by the rest of the world
that we enslave to create our comfort?

People dies to make this laptop
that I am writing on. I drink
Tequilla imported from Mexico,
in a crystal glass, on a chair over
looking an immense lake
filled with potable water.
I drink the water from this lake!

No one ask me for my papers ever.
I don't even know where my wallet is
for the last few days and I drive around
without an ounce of worry that I will
be pulled over.

Sitting and writing all alone,
once again,
in my castle made of trees.

Writing with the hope that someone might
read this and express some love back.
Am I doing anyting that isn't about love?
Is love the only fuel to our existence?

* I want to mention a lot of appreciation
for everyone who write to me by email,
after reading my gopher, or listening
to my show. Or people who writes on
gopher on similar topics, sharing
our realities. It's is truly a good
feeling when I see these connections
arise! Thank you, and even only digitally
I send love your way!
