I like meditation and I like guiding meditation.
I also like playing synthesizer.

What if I would practice to do both at the same time?

For a meditation, ambient is the genre to use.

Two weeks ago I just did that.

Music is a healing practice. It helps me in my own
healing process, and it can help others to heal too.
In different culture, most notably Indian, Middle
eastern and Japanese, music can sometime be viewed
as a healing practice. The musician being the bridge
between God and the listener, can tune into this globality
and transmit the teachings trough sound.

I am not proeficient enough to be able to tune into
reality and let the music flow trough me. I feel that
in order to have that freedom, one have to master her
instrument.

That being said, although what I am doing is more
a practice than a performance, it worked. On this
latest recording the balance of music and voice
isn't great. I am not setup to hear the complete
mix down at this point, and only hear the synths
in my headphones. Little by little I improve on
my setup. I'm also planing to record locally too
in order to keep the highest quality possible,
and also do some post editing. This week would
have benefited a bit of a tweak.
