Hello,

Good times here on sdf.

As this is my first entry, maybe an explaination is needed...

I plan on making this an sort of journal. I don't really have an outlet for stuff I want to write, nor do I keep a journal, so I figured this would be a
great place to keep a log of my going-a-bouts. Also, most people I know can't figure out how to access this site, so all the better.

I would like to keep this as positive and straight forward as possible. I apologize for my spelling, although I don't really intend anyone to read this.

This week we went to New Oreleans and Lafayette for Shaun's weddding. Freaking awesome. I had crawdads for the first time. Kinda like baby lobster.
Mmmmmm. Delicious. One thing thats not so great about them is their guts/brains/ass-poop. It's kinda everywhere when you eat them. Some people 'suck
the head,' which is southern code for sucking the guts out of a tiny crustation.

We went to Bourbon Street, oh excuse me, Rue Bourbon. Had hurricanes at Pat O'Brians. Hand Gernades at some other place. Beigenets at Cafe du Monde.
Basic touristy stuff.

A couple of other great things. Annie's friend Mel is amazaing. So nice and a wonderful host. She made us jamaliaya. Surries(sp?) in the Gardent
District was great for breakfast. Order the bananas foster french toast. In Lafayette the French Press was great too, also for breakfast. They also have
great lunch food.

Other News:

Little Ronnie is getting really old. I don't think she handled us leaving very well. I will miss her when she's gone.

I really love coding. I'm learing Java, ruby, and perl. All great stuff. Although, I think I like the syntax of perl better. It's more akin to the
shell scripting style. Ruby reminds me more of JavaScript. Oh, and UNIX is the best. I really enjoy the command line.

I think I like old school technology. I think I'll get a record player.

That's all for now.
