=============================================================================== Title: AoT and contradictory measures Date: 28-02-2021 =============================================================================== Yesterday I stated that Saturday is the most boring day. I must obviously change my mind. Not having time to rest is often better than having too much. I've recently caught up with the episodes of AoT. Those binge watching sessions were so stressful - not for the activity itself but because of the subject. I mean: what kind of mental illness can produce that scratchy and bloody result? Love it. I'm not an expert or an anime/manga lover, but I must admit that this medium has a powerful communicative ability. The contents are amazing too. The methanarrative structure is pretty solid - with the exceptions of some hasty moments. Although the messages are highlighted rather emphatically, the plot is never sacrificed. The second semester of university begins next week. Lessons will be "live". I don't think it will last long. I'd like to underline the obvious contradiciton of the measures: a transition from the "yellow" zone to the "orange" zone with the possibility to attend lessons in the university classrooms. If, with a more than rough approximation, we outline the trend of the infections by means of a sinusoidal function, it is evident that the measures that are taken during the minima are carried out with too much delay. In this way paradoxes are generated (loosening of measures during peaks of infection).
