# 22 May 2021 - Ravens and cockies

A storm has been brewing, it got the birds all excited this morning. Some of the local cockies, probably Little Corellas, dropped by our neighbour's Pencil Pine to feast on the nuts. This intrudes on the ravens' territory, though, so they weren't too pleased about that. A raven tried to swoop two cockies hanging out on the roof, but they merely responded with an annoyed screech back.

While we laughed at the antics of the birds, we spotted a willy wagtail on the roof nearby. Silent for once, he was content to maintain a low profile and keep a watch on the larger birds.

Twenty minutes later, the cockies and ravens moved on, just as quickly as they arrived.
