I'd love comments on this. This is my first attempt to design vehicles for DSII and I'm not sure I'm doing it correctly or costing things out properly (things seem a lot cheaper than the examples in the rules). Also, I've only played it once, so I have very little idea of the trade-offs of various weapon/defense systems. I took the GW stats pretty litterally. It would be nice to see some new/different stats for the models (esp. more tied in with the DSII universe). Let me know what you think. Harry Dirtside II stats for Space Marine version 1.0 Infantry: 1 tactical stand Imperial Guard (militia) costs 15 1 tactical stand Marines or IG veterans (line troops) costs 20 1 stand Terminators (power armor) costs 40 assault troops as above. devestators are declared as either: anti-personel (APSW) cost + 10 anti-armor (GMS/L) cost +20/30/40 (basic/enhanced/superior) note - 2 transport spaces are required to transport a Terminator stand. Armor/Support: Rough Riders as IG assault infantry, with cavalry move. cost 23 Land Speeder size 1, capacity 5, VTOL, FGP Power Plant no armor, signiture 1 equipment: space required: 1 x free APSW 0 1 x DFFG/2 fixed 4 (optionaly GMS/H or HEL/2) 1 x APSW 1 1 x enhanced fire control 0 cost: 75 notes: add stealth? Is this abusive?, even without infantry, it moves 5 times faster than foot soldiers, has 2 APSW's and costs only 17pts, compared to 30pts for a single stand of APSW infantry. Also beats out cavalry. Do you need to buy fire control for the vehicle mounted APSW's? Is there a cost for cargo/transport capacity? Replace HELs?
