In 1994 SDF moved from Kodak Interactive SVR3 UNIX/i386 to ESIX SVR4 to 
expand modem service as well as improve internet services and access to
ARPA service utilities.

In the prior configuration SDF had three disks: 40mb MFM for root, 150mb
MFM for usenet and a 338mb ESDI for /usr, /u and /tmp.  This this configuration
there is a single 1GB SCSI disk on an Adaptec 1541CF controller with the
reused 150MB MFM drive as /udd
