[USNMRG Help file 1 page]

USNMRG is a program to merge histogram data files which have been
created by the USNOOP routine. All the data files must have been
generated by the same program linked with USNOOP. The merge program can
be used when you have run the same program at different times, and you
want to compile average statistics on its performance. To run USNMRG,
type:

R USNMRG

The program will type an asterisk and wait for a command, which should
be:

OUTPUTFILE=list of input files (wildcards are ok)

If you don't specify an output file name, the name of the first input
file will be used, with a default extension of "MRG". An example
follows.

R USNREP
*foo=foo.0??

This will merge all data file with the names FOO.001,FOO.002,...
together into a file called FOO.MRG. Then you can run USNREP with this
file as input. For problems, call Carl Appellof at 543-9275.
