[EBCDIC help file; 1 page]

THE EBCDIC PROGRAM IS FOR READING AND WRITING IBM-COMPATIBLE
TAPES. FOR FULL DOCUMENTATION, LIST THE FILE DOC:EBCDIC.DOC .
PROBLEM NOTE: WHEN ASKED WHAT DEVICE FOR TAPE, RESPOND
WITHOUT THE COLON(:). E.G. "MTA0" BUT NOT "MTA0:" .

To write a labeled tape that can be read on ADP's Burroughs
computer you need to run EBCDIC using SL for label type.
Example:

.SET DENSITY MTA: 1600

.R EBCDIC
