And he's like, it's all mistints free or cheap at Birkins'. All right. So I started using 'em. Found me some old chairs in the pile by the workshop. Weren't even much broken, so I painted them. And Tinny used to come around back then and she's like, I sure don't love that color, what'd you choose that for. And I'm like, I don't love it either, but I don't care, I'll paint it again next year. And she shrugs, but I did. And again and again and again in the years after. Just done another coat the other day. It ain't fixed, but it's a spot of fresh and clean. And that's something, right. Feels good.
