Mistints.

In the shed  behind the Tax Rd.   house, Louis had
buckets  and buckets  of  paint.   It's all  still
there.   Where'd you  get all  those anyways,  I'd
say.   And he's  like, it's  all mistints  free or
cheap at Birkins'. All right.

So I started using 'em.   Found me some old chairs
in the  pile by  the workshop.  Weren't  even much
broken, so I painted them.  And Tinny used to come
around back then and she's like, I sure don't love
that color,  what'd you choose that  for.  And I'm
like, I  don't love it  either, but I  don't care,
I'll paint  it again  next year.  And  she shrugs,
but I did.   And again and again and  again in the
years  after.  Just  done another  coat the  other
day.

It  ain't fixed,  but  it's a  spot  of fresh  and
clean.  And that's something, right.  Feels good.
