This page helps you to generate a command you can execute in your shell to
generate a CSR (certificate signing request) or a self signed certificate. 

Enter the data below and click Generate Command. Execute the command in a
Terminal. Save the files.  

The last update of this page added the [subject alternative name][3] option
to the command.

Don't use the following characters: &lt; &gt; ~ ! @ # $ % ^ * / \ ( ) ?  

To use the [Subject Alternative Name][2] option, you need [OpenSSL 1.1.1 or
higher][3]. See [this article][3] for a command for lower versions.
