Space Patrol Glove (600-4018) Care and Maintenance Faxback Doc. # 7447

The Radio Shack Space Patrol Glove Walkie-Talkies are examples of superior
design and craftsmanship. The following suggestions will help you care
for the walkie-talkies so you can enjoy them for years.

Keep the walkie-talkies dry. If they get wet, wipe them dry
immediately. Liquids might contain minerals that can corrode the
  electronic circuits.

Use and store the walkie-talkies only in normal temperature
environments. Temperature extremes can shorten the life of electronic
devices, damage batteries, and distort or melt plastic parts.

Handle the walkie-talkies gentle and carefully. Dropping them can
damage the circuit boards and cause the walkie-talkies to work
  improperly.

Keep the walkie-talkies away from dust and dirt, which can cause
  premature wear of parts.

Wipe the walkie-talkies with a damp cloth occasionally to keep them
looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong
  detergents to clean the walkie-talkies.

Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type. Always remove
old or weak batteries. They can leak chemicals that destroy electronic
  circuits.

Modifying or tampering with the walkie-talkies' internal components can
cause a malfunction and might invalidate the warranty. If your walkie-
talkies are not performing as they should, take them to your local Radio
Shack store for assistance.
