We do not expect you to have any problems with your TAD, but if you do,
try these suggestions.

The TAD does not answer calls.

  Check that AC power is connected.

  Make sure the phone line is connected.

  Press ANNOUNCE so the message indicator lights.

  Make sure you have recorded an OUT-GOING MESSAGE.

Recording sound distorted

  Re-record the OUT-GOING MESSAGE.

  Clean the tape heads.  See "Cleaning the Tape-Handling Parts."

  Replace the tape.

If you still have problems, take the TAD to your local Radio Shack store
for assistance.
