Wired Intercom (430-0223A) Maintenance Faxback Doc. # 6707

Your Radio Shack 4-Station Wire Intercom System is an example of superior
design and craftsmanship. The following suggestions will help you care
for the intercom so you can enjoy it for years.

Keep the intercom dry. If the intercom gets wet, wipe it dry immed-
iately. Liquids might contain minerals that can corrode the
    electronic circuits.

Use and store the intercom only in normal temperature environments.
High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices,
damage batteries, and distort or melt plastic parts.

Handle the intercom gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage
the circuit boards and cases and can cause the intercom to
    work improperly.

Keep the intercom away from dust and dirt, which can cause premature
    wear of parts.

Wipe the intercom with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking
new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong
    detergents to clean the intercom.

Use only fresh batteries of the recommended size and type. Always
remove old or weak batteries. They can leak chemicals that destroy
    electronic circuits.

Modifying or tampering with the intercom's internal components can cause a
malfunction and might invalidate the intercom's warranty. If your
intercom is not performing as it should, take it to your local Radio Shack
store for assistance.
