Dual Serial/Parallel  (25-4025A)      Features          Faxback Doc. # 5580
Port Adapter

The dual serial/parallel kit adds two serial ports and one parallel port to
your computer. The serial ports share a single expansion slot in the
computer. The parallel port cable requires the use of a second slot.

With the addition of the three ports, you can connect various asynchronous
devices, such as:

*   a serial mouse
*   modems
*   printers
*   plotters

You can install up to two of these adapter kits in one computer, and can use
the kits with the MS-DOS, MS OS/2, or XENIX operating system.

The serial ports operate at data transfer rates up to 19,200 baud.

If you connect a DCE device (data communications equipment), such as a data
concentrator or multiplexer, you might need a DB9-to-DB9 null modem adapter,
Cat. No. 260-264.
