Combi-Mouse PS/2/Serial Version (250-2001) Features Faxback Doc. # 5138

The Tandy Combi-Mouse is a two-button pointing device for personal
computers. It is designed to interface with either a serial or
PS/2-compatible mouse port.

This is an opto-mechanical mouse featuring 400 dots per inch resolution.
The user moves the mouse over a desk top -- or any flat, even surface.
This causes the ball under the mouse to rotate. The ball movement is
translated into X and Y movements inside the mouse by two perpendicular
shafts in contact with the ball.

The cable attached to the mouse has a 9-pin D-sub FEMALE connector. This
is used to connect with the 9-pin serial port on most personal computers.

Also included in the package is an adapter (9-pin D-sub MALE to 6-pin MALE
mini-din) for connecting to personal computers with a dedicated mouse port
(such as the IBM PS/2 models). Just attach the adapter to the 9-pin D-sub
connector and plug the 6-pin mini-din into the computer's mouse port.
There is not a need to open the mouse.
