When Quick Link II Fax is started for the first time, certain default
settings go into effect.  These settings allow the majority of users to
begin fax and data transmissions immediately.  The first table shows the
default settings for fax communications, and the second shows the default
settings for data communications.  If you need to change settings, or want
to find more information about them, refer to the appropriate pagenumbers.
