Cordless Mouse (250-2006) Troubleshooting Faxback Doc. # 2827
With AC Adapter

If you have a problem with your mouse, check the following:

Make sure the charger/receiver's cable is firmly connected to the
  computer.

Make sure the mouse's battery is fully charged. If the battery is low,
the cursor might move erratically or not at all.

Make sure the mouse's infrared transmitter is pointed toward the
  receiver.

Make sure you have selected the correct serial port (see "Installing
  the Mouse Driver).

Check to see if the cable is broken or has any sharp bends.

If the cursor moves irregularly across the screen, clean the mouse's
ball (see "Cleaning the Cordless Mouse").

If the cursor appears on the screen but does not move, make sure you
  have installed the supplied driver.

If the mouse pointer moves erratically or jumps on the screen, make sure
you correctly set the 2-or 3-button system on the back of the
charger/receiver (see "Selecting the Mouse System").

If you still have problems after checking the above, contact your local
Radio Shack store for assistance.
