HyperGuide is the on-line guide for Multimedia Windows 3.0. You might not
want to install it on your hard drive. You will be given the choice when you
install the program.

If HyperGuide is already installed on your hard drive, you can remove it by 
following these steps:

1. From the Main Group window, place the pointer on the HyperGuide icon and 
   click once.

2. Choose Properties from the File Menu on the Program Manager window.

   Change the path in the second field to:

   WINHELP.EXE [drive:]\HYPER\HGCD.HLP

   where [drive:] is the appropriate drive letter for your CD-ROM drive.

3. Press the OK button to accept any changes.

4. Use File Manager, located in the Main Group window, to remove the files 
   from the \HYPER subdirectory, located in your Windows directory.

5. From File Manager, open the TANMENU.INI file, located in the Windows 
   directory, and change the following line, located under the heading
   [page    2]:

      app3=launch,hyper.dib,hyperg.wav,0,0,P,[drive:]\MWindows\winhelp.exe
      [drive:]\Windows\hyper\hgcd.hlp

   to

      app3=launch,hyper.dib,hyperg.wav,0,0,P,[drive:]\mwin\winhelp.exe 
      [drive:]\hyper\hgcd.hlp

   to run HyperGuide from the CD-ROM drive.

NOTE: [drive:] is your CD-ROM drive letter, such as D:.
