Metrofone
---------
Metrofone is a very popular system with Phone phreaks. Metro is basically
just another long distance service, like MCI or Sprint, with one exception.
It seems impossible to be caught on Metrofone.
Got it? Speaking with several security agents, the general talk seems to be
that At&t won't work with them, and they can't afford tracing equipment.
I, personally, have never in my entire career heard of an arrest for Metro
use. Another advantage of Metrofone is that is works on 6 <six> digit
passtones good at ANY Metro port.
I would suggest Metro before any other Long Distance Service. Keep it in
mind.
Metrofone is a division of Western Union Communications <Telegraph>
and can be reached at 1(800)562-0240. With this number, a local metro port
can be obtained by calling and asking <as a customer> for a local dialup. We
have included a small listing of the more popular Metro Dial ups.
As said, Metro works on 6 <six> digit passtones, so after you hacking a code
is simple. The first three digits of the passtone are known as a 'Class'
code...or Metro classification. So, if you have a proper class code, you need
only hack the last three digits. Class codes can be found by taking the first
three off any other Metro code, or if you get desperate subscribe to get one.
Here are a few class codes:

876 and MANY, MANY, MANY more.
Hacking a Complete Passtone:
A.) Dial your local METRO
B.) Wait for second dial-tone
C.) Enter class code
D.) Enter x (start with x=111)
E.) Enter 2129762626
F.) Wait.If you hear nothing for more then 45 seconds hang up. If the code
is good you'll hear a sex recording. If not, then you'll hear:
'Service for this authorization code is not presently available.'
G.) Increase x by 1,if x was 111 then x is now 112.
H.) Restart at step A.
While this method is very slow, it is possible to find codes with it. To save
time obtain Metrophreak, Phoenixphreak or another Metro coder program.
