Four beers left until Christmas and I'm hoping that they're all
premium from here on out. This stout from Stone Brewing certainly
is! I love the concept of a mexican hot chocolate flavored beer.
It's dark and thick with a smooth, creamy texture. The cinnamon
is noticeable and pleasant, and the peppers add an exciting element
of spiciness. Stone is the king of heavy IPAs but I think they
nailed this one. I would love a bourbon barrel aged version.
