"Bandstand" - watercolor on 4" paper

So, I didn't select this one for my top-level, promoted artwork, but
I actually like this one. This was obviously another
exploration using the glowy, bright colors, but it actually began with
the artistic representation of the four colored keys, arranged as they
are on the 36-key keyboard of my current FRST prototypes. I was
disappointed with the way they were looking, however, so it veered off
into stranger territory. As a result, I plan to revisit FRST-themed
watercolors again in the future.

In the end, the reason I liked this one is that it is suggestive of
a face, and I really like painting things with "hidden" shapes, or
shapes that hint at something but aren't. (I know there must be an
artsy term for this, but since I don't know any fancy art language...)

Anyway, rock on!
