| But working from home, I'd find my job brutal without a tool like
| Slack/Teams. Long response times from emails and it'd be very dry
| as the 'IM' style chat allows for a bit of banter like
| GIFs/'private' chats etc.

| difference between "Do you require StackOverflow to do your
| job?" and "Are you OK with your internet access being
| censored?". I would guess that most are replying to the
| latter interpretation, even though StackOverflow was probably
| attempting to gauge their own importance.
