  |It was just never feasible as a product to be sold until that moment.
  |In fact, I think the inventor in question didn't try to monetize the
  |'discovery' for over 15 years. Freezing tech and railroads made it
  |possible to sell them.  Even then it'd be a few more decades before
  |most homes had freezers, so it was just a novelty.
