|iron and whatever else they were constantly diminishing, but sure.
|Medical leeches are _still_ in use, and it's considered _very_
|healthy to regularly donate blood, but sure. Or that blood flushes
|external particles and to some degree infection from a wound before
|clotting. Obviously, quantity matters here, and we haven't even
