|You can change it if you want to. Follow this path for android
|internal/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/media Rename your
|picture to splash.png and put it in this media folder

|If you're are running Android TV 11 and later you must add "
|special://home " within your Kodi File Manager to access your Kodi
|addon folder. This is due to permission issues.

|My problem is that very often I can’t get a splash screen at all, it
|just won’t start no matter how often I click on the kodi icon on android

|Well, I am a searcher. But instead of Google I must have made the
|mistake of coming straight to this sub and searching within it

|At least the mods let you keep your post. The last few times I had
|an issue it didn't matter how much information I put in it, it kept
|getting removed 😂

|Usually that means the post is violating a rule voted upon by
|regular users of this sub. I say usually because I've had it
|happen to me as well, even though I know the post followed all
|rules. The mod reinstated the post, without me even asking, and we
|couldn't figure out what was getting caught by the filters. So
|sometimes it's just Reddit's imperfect filter system.

|Yeah sometimes and other times it's the mods because I had one
|contact me during that time so it wasn't reddit. All good
|though with the low quality information I've seen past here
|lately hopefully next time I have a problem I can get my post
|posted without too much problems

|Just use advance settings if it causes you distress, so splash never
|shows, no drama.
