Low sodium and low calorie diets

An earlier suggestion to use margerine instead of butter
to reduce sodium and calorie intake was inappropriate.
Both have virtually the same sodium content and number of
calories. There is, however, good news for those of us
who like to bury our baked potatos in sour cream: sour
cream is considerably lower than butter in both sodium
and calories.

For comparison, the following are amounts per tablespoon
of spread, extracted from the tables in "Laurel's Kitchen".

	     Calories	Sodium Fat
			 (mg.) (g)

butter 102 140 11
margerine	102 140 12
mayonnaise	101 84 11
sour cream 28 6 3
yoghurt 10 8 0.5
