Well, it's been a while I guess. I've been busy!

==> Project statuses:

* Game engine:

  Got skinning mostly working, animated skinned meshes work so long
  as the bone hierarchy is flat. Have to work out some issues when
  bones are parented to one another.

* Turbogopher:

  Turbogopher can now download files!!! Also did some small unicode
  translation improvements.

* New projects:

  gophersphered : a gopher server i'm writing in Ada
    - https://tildegit.org/jns/gophersphered

  neovision: a turbovision-inspired c++ library
    - https://tildegit.org/jns/pubnix/src/branch/master/lib/neovision

The latter of which, is part of a set of pubnix utilities I'm
slowly writing for a pubnix project i'm working on way down the road
... Yes yes, I know, I've got way too much in the pipeline all at
once - it's a disease - whatever - I'm having fun! :)

==> Meeanwhile...:

This week I'm preparing for VCFMW. This is the first time I'm hosting
a table rather than spectating, so I took the week off to prepare all
the things I'm hoping to display. Even though I took a week off work,
I still feel like I'm racing against the clock. It did encourage me
to get a PCB printed for the nuclear rs422 keyboard and make it all
nice and proper. And the kind folks at nuclearcompanion.com gave me
permission to use some of the photo's from one of their articles to
print a one-off poster for the event. I've uploaded the kicad pcb
layout and schematic on to tildegit along with some other technical
details, pictures, and hardware stuffffff... should any one else have
one of these, and want to get it working:

==> Baud baby had a baby:

I wanted to officially congratulate cat from baud.baby on having
created a tiny human. I am way way late to the party, but that's
because I was a little bit sad and worried that we'd have lost him!
hahaha - but thankfully he's still around. Whew! But I'm sure he'll
have his hands full.

Aanyway, that's it for this post - I just wanted to break the silence
and give a quick update. Maybe I'll see some of you at vcfmw! -Cya!

 client.)
