"AppChooser" is a Tracker Add-On which let you open a file with one of your favorite apps.


After extracting AppChooser.zip,
move AppChooser to "/boot/beos/system/add-ons/Tracker/".




Drop your favorite apps to AppChooser's view.

Initialy, it looks like this.
You can add and remove apps as you wish.

The order of app list can be changed by dragging an item.


Double click an item to start!!
*AppChooser creates a folder, "/boot/home/config/settings/AppChooser."



New Features
[Directories and Files]
You can add any of directrories and files which you often open. (AppChooser ignores selected files when you double-click diectories/files on the list.)
[Keyboard Shortcuts]
SPACE- moves selection down.
DOWN ARROW- moves selection down.
UP ARROW- moves selection up.
RIGHT ARROW - shows optional setting.
LEFT ARROW- closes optional setting.
ENTER - launches selected applicatoion.

[Optional Setting View]
Info View- shows name, path, and large icon
"Modify Name?"- allows to edit app's name on the list.
A Button- closes optional setting
File View - shows files selected.(Drop a file to add.)




Known Bugs

If you hit "SPACE" or "UP/DOWN ARROW" repeatedly(more than 300 times), Tracker will die.
If you keep pressing "SPACE" or "UP/DOWN ARROW" for a long(maybe, 20 seconds), Tracker will die.

I've been working on these, but so far NO LUCK...
So, please don't abuse!
