Weather Situation
A strong ridge is developing along the south coast. A trough and associated low
pressure system will develop near the west coast later Sunday, deepening early
in the week and moving east later Wednesday and into Thursday.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 17 November
Mostly clear. Slight chance of a shower in the far north, becoming less likely
later this evening. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere. The chance of a
thunderstorm in the far north, possibly severe. Winds easterly 20 to 30 km/h.

Forecast for Monday 18 November
Mostly sunny. Slight chance of a shower in the far north in the afternoon and
early evening. Near zero chance of rain elsewhere. The chance of a thunderstorm
in the northwest in the afternoon and early evening. Winds easterly 25 to 35
km/h. Overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 18 with daytime
temperatures reaching 29 to 34.
