A cold front and trough over eastern Victoria will clear the State tonight as
an associated low pressure system passes to the south of Tasmania. A fresh west

southwesterly as a high south of the Bight extends a ridge over southern
Victoria. The high and ridge are forecast to remain slow moving on Tuesday with
winds tending southeasterly on Wednesday as the high moves to the southwest of
Tasmania. The high is forecast to move over the southern Tasman Sea on Thursday
with winds tending warmer northeasterly over Victoria.

tonight. Isolated showers elsewhere in the south. Dry and mostly clear across
the north. Moderate to fresh westerly winds, fresh to strong and gusty in the
west, easing tonight.
