Weather Situation
A strong and gusty cold front is currently traversing the state, and is set to
reach the northeast by Monday. In its wake, a broad high-pressure ridge will
establish itself over the southern parts of the state, bringing mostly calm
weather to many areas. However, a trough may persist along the northern coast
on Tuesday or Wednesday, potentially leading to moderate rainfall for the area.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 17 November
Partly cloudy. Slight chance of a shower in the south later tonight. Near zero
chance of rain elsewhere. Winds north to northeasterly 20 to 30 km/h.

Forecast for Monday 18 November
Partly cloudy. High chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and
evening. The chance of a thunderstorm, possibly severe. Winds north to
northwesterly 25 to 35 km/h tending northwest to southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in
the middle of the day then becoming light in the evening. Overnight
temperatures falling to between 13 and 18 with daytime temperatures reaching 21
to 30.
