Weather Situation
A strong and gusty cold front is currently traversing the state, and is set to
reach the northeast by Monday. In its wake, a broad high-pressure ridge will
establish itself over the southern parts of the state, bringing mostly calm
weather to many areas. However, a trough may persist along the northern coast
on Tuesday or Wednesday, potentially leading to moderate rainfall for the area.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 17 November
Cloudy. High chance of showers, becoming less likely in the evening. The chance
of a thunderstorm, possibly severe. Winds northwest to northeasterly 15 to 25
km/h becoming light in the late evening.

Forecast for Monday 18 November
Becoming cloudy. High chance of showers in the north, medium chance elsewhere.
Light winds becoming southeast to southwesterly 20 to 30 km/h in the morning
then becoming southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the evening. Overnight
temperatures falling to between 10 and 15 with daytime temperatures reaching 20
to 25.
