Weather Situation
A strong and gusty cold front is currently traversing the state, and is set to
reach the northeast by Monday. In its wake, a broad high-pressure ridge will
establish itself over the southern parts of the state, bringing mostly calm
weather to many areas. However, a trough may persist along the northern coast
on Tuesday or Wednesday, potentially leading to moderate rainfall for the area.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 17 November
Cloudy. Very high chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm, possibly
severe. Damaging winds and large hail possible about higher ground. Winds north
to northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h.

Forecast for Monday 18 November
Mostly sunny. Medium chance of showers, most likely in the late afternoon and
evening. The chance of a thunderstorm. Winds northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h
increasing to 30 km/h before shifting southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h in the
afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 13 and 17 with daytime
temperatures reaching 23 to 28.
