Weather Situation
A strong and gusty cold front is currently traversing the state, and is set to
reach the northeast by Monday. In its wake, a broad high-pressure ridge will
establish itself over the southern parts of the state, bringing mostly calm
weather to many areas. However, a trough may persist along the northern coast
on Tuesday or Wednesday, potentially leading to moderate rainfall for the area.

Forecast for the rest of Sunday 17 November
Cloudy. Very high chance of showers, becoming less likely at night. The chance
of a thunderstorm, possibly severe. Winds northwesterly 25 to 40 km/h
decreasing to 15 to 25 km/h in the late evening.

Forecast for Monday 18 November
Sunny day. Slight chance of a shower in the evening. Winds westerly 20 to 30
km/h tending southeast to southwesterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening.
Overnight temperatures falling to between 6 and 10 with daytime temperatures
reaching between 18 and 24.
