Twitter Rolls Out Tool to Combat Online Abuse by VOA News Twitter says it's making it easier for users to report abusive tweets. The social media company boasts some 320 million users, but has come under fire for not taking online abuse seriously. The new tool will now allow users to send one report that includes up to five tweets, giving the company a better idea of the extent of abuse, the company wrote on its [1]Safety blog on Saturday. Previously, only one tweet at a time could be submitted. Having more context, the company says, will help them resolve issues more quickly. "Safety continues to be a top priority at Twitter," reads the post. "We have more improvements coming that will give you even more control over your experience and look forward to sharing those updates soon." Twitter recently expanded its abuse policies to include "abusive behavior and hateful conduct." The company also has added a tool to report violent threats. The new tool will be rolled out for Twitter's iOS and Android apps in the near future.
