Dozens Get Food Poisoning at 'World's Best Restaurant' Dozens of diners who ate in a Danish restaurant critics called the world`s best for three straight years came down with severe food poisoning last month. Health officials said Friday 63 customers and several employees of Copenhagen`s Noma restaurant were crippled by vomiting and diarrhea over a five-day period. It is not clear what caused the outbreak. But inspectors suspect it may have come from a sick kitchen worker. Authorities criticized the restaurant for not taking immediate action. Noma manager Peter Kreiner apologized to all those sickened, saying his business is based on making people happy. The prestigious magazine Restaurant proclaimed Noma the world`s best eatery in 2010, 2011, and 2012. Its gourmet menu costs diners as much as $260 and reservations are accepted months in advance. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/dozens-get-food-poisoning-at-worlds-b est-restaurant/1618208.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/dozens-get-food-poisoning-at-worlds-best-restaurant/1618208.html
