French Police Investigation Leads to Bomb-Making Materials French police have found bomb making materials and weapons as part of an investigation into a suspected terrorist cell. Paris prosecutor Francois Molins told reporters Wednesday that police recovered several items, including potassium nitrate, sulfur, saltpeter, pressure cookers and headlight bulbs - all products and instruments that are useful for the manufacture of what are called improved explosive devices. He says police discovered the materials, in addition to two weapons, in an enclosed parking lot in the Paris suburb of Torcy after a tip from one of several people detained recently in a roundup of suspected Islamic extremists. Twelve people were arrested Saturday on suspicion of involvement in a grenade attack on a Jewish grocery store in September. __________________________________________________________________ [1]http://www.voanews.com/content/french-police-investigation-leads-to- bomb-making-materials/1523742.html References 1. http://www.voanews.com/content/french-police-investigation-leads-to-bomb-making-materials/1523742.html
